Recent wins for Our Forever Home!
Last week we were delighted to learn that the Massachusetts Cultural Council has awarded KidsArts a $200,000 Cultural Facilities Fund grant to help launch the renovation of our Forever Home! The Cultural Facilities Fund supports capital improvements at arts nonprofits, recognizing the economic and social impact of organizations like ours on the communities we serve. This is our first major public-sector investment, and we are honored by their trust and support.
We ALSO just secured our first capital grant from a private foundation! We have many applications out under review, and The Hamilton Companies Charitable Foundation was the first to respond — along with a check for $10,000 to support our project.
We are deeply grateful to these early funders. Not only are they providing crucial financial contributions — their early commitment signals to other funders that our project is solid, worthy, and timely.
Forever Home, here we come!
SHNA Tour!
We are so lucky to have the support of the Sumner Hill Neighborhood Association for KidsArts’ Forever Home. In April, we got to take members of the Association’s board to check out our new digs - all ages included!
Meet Our Architectural Team - We have experts on financing, construction, and architecture coming together to help us build an awesome, brave, and safe space for our kids! KidsArts is beyond grateful for their care, intention, and knowledge.

So what exactly are we building? Our team has completed a full feasibility study of 93 Sedgwick — and we know exactly what it needs to get our kids through the doors.
